Special Advisor to the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority’s CEO – Consultant, full time, 12-month contract, Abuja based
The relationship between PIDG and the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) dates back to 2014, with PIDG Company GuarantCo and NSIA promoting the creation of a Nigerian debt guarantee facility, now known as InfraCredit. NSIA made key contributions in the design of the facility and worked closely with GuarantCo to achieve a sustainable business model, which continues to operate successfully today.
PIDG is now looking to further cement its relationship with NSIA by providing funding for this Special Advisor position, to help promote bankable private infrastructures projects in Nigeria which are aligned with both NSIA’s and PIDG’s mission and investment policy. The Special Advisor will work with the CEO to develop and execute NSIA’s infrastructure investment strategies, providing advice and support on the structuring and implementation of infrastructure projects in Nigeria. In addition, the Advisor will champion the creation of infrastructure co-investment funds and develop direct investments that do not fit neatly within the classic lines of NSIA investments.
The role will be for an initial 12-month period, with the possibility of a further 12-month extension based on acceptable performance and availability of funding, and will be based in Abuja, Nigeria.
